The Organisation
Our client is one of Australia's foremost community enterprises dedicated to enabling people with complex healthcare needs to achieve their desired quality of life. They are now seeking to appoint an outstanding Chief Executive in order to continue providing the highest quality services to the community while working to grow the business and funding from key stakeholders including government as well as other agencies.
The Role
The overarching purpose of the Chief Executive Officer is to play a lead role in the growth of the business. This will be achieved in two ways;
- Maintaining a strong focus on building and creating sustainable community partnerships to meet the needs of an aging population.
- Adopting a market facing approach, continually striving to promote the community enterprise in the relevant community arena, with the intention of attracting a range non-government funding and grow the organisation to create a truly national agency.
Further, an individual with the ability to commercialise a community enterprise will be highly regarded.
- Exemplary leadership and direction for the senior management team;
- Continue growth of effective commercial and fund raising activities;
- Ensure financial viability, assets, resources and services are developed;
- Coordinate and manage various external relationships;
- Lead and manage a complex, muti-state services based business.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will possess some or all of the following attributes and experience:
- Lead and manage a complex, multi-state services based business
- Outstanding executive leadership capabilities;
- Extensive experience in the management of complex community based service organisations;
- Strong financial and performance management skills
- Excellent collaborative, communication, and change management skills.
