Our client specialises in the design and delivery of management & technology services, specifically management consulting and business transformation and information technology management including managed services, IT resourcing, system development and integration. With revenues in excess of $230 million, our client is recognised as a leading provider of consulting, management and technology services.
The Role
An opportunity currently exists for a Chief Financial Officer to perform a key leadership role as a member of the executive management team. The CFO will provide strategic direction and oversight of the finance, client services, commercial support, IT, legal and Company Secretarial functions of the organisation. Furthermore, the CFO will be responsible for managing investor relations, compliance and risk issues and targeted growth activity. In a business-building sense, the CFO will work closely with the CEO and executive team in defining new strategies, developing and analysing business performance, driving ongoing M&A activities and executing the corporate business plan.
The Requirements
To be successful in this key role you will need:
- Previous experience operating at Chief Financial Officer level within a publicly listed company
- Proven project management experience with successful track record in strategic planning
- Broad experience in the design, delivery and execution of a Mergers and Acquisitions strategy
- Hands-on and practical experience in the preparation of public company financial statements and financial management (e.g., group accounting, cash flow analysis)
- Experience in communicating with the market analysts, shareholder community and regulators
- Substantial financial expertise in accounting, consolidations, auditing and accounting standards together with a sound knowledge of the reporting requirements of the Corporations Act and ASX
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills to build an energetic, disciplined, collaborative-working team; strong negotiation skills and the ability to engage in forward thinking
- Ability to excel and enjoy working in an engaging, fun environment within a services model for a publicly listed company
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
