As 2009 winds towards a close, all the staff here at OPPEUS International are grateful for having made it through a tough year - and we've come out stronger on the other side! Our mascot ‘OPPEUS’ – the mythical God of human endeavour was on our side!
To celebrate, our staff decided to observe the year’s end and all their hard work with a few relaxing ends of lawn bowls in the summer sunshine of St Kilda Bowling club. A few ends and a few drinks later and it was off to a unique restaurant to give thanks some more!
This year began a new tradition in gift giving. Our theme was "The Inner Child". As we reflected on the past year, we recognised that there are many who have come out of the financial crises with a lot less than ourselves. So in the spirit of giving, all gifts purchased on behalf of our staff Kris Kringle, were donated to ‘Anglicare’ as part of 101 Collins Christmas program.
