AICD Fellows include some of Australia's most experienced directors and influential members of society. In recognition of their contribution and achievements, OPPEUS International was pleased to again sponsor the Annual Fellows Dinner.
Held at the refurbished ANZ Pavilion at The Arts Centre, the Victorian division welcomed over 140 Fellows for an elegant evening of networking and entertainment. This year's guest of honour was Ms Christine Nixon APM, Chair of the Victorian Bushfire Reconstruction & Recovery Authority who gave a wonderful presentation around the theme of 'Leadership.'
One highlight of the evening was the announcement of the Distinguished Fellow Award, which was established to recognise excellence in contribution, dedication and leadership by a Victorian Fellow. Ms Elizabeth Alexander AM was announced the recipient of the Distinguished Fellow Award for 2009. Some 28 new Fellow members were also welcomed on the night.
Our Executive Chairman, Peter Kronborg commented that: "As the main initiator and sponsor of the Fellows Dinner, with the AICD, we have established an event which is proving to be one of the most successful on the AICD calendar.
The combination of esteemed men and women Fellows, the guest speakers, entertainment by Pot-Pourri and the high professional organisation by the AICD made it an event to remember for all."
