OPPEUS are pleased to have initiate the concept for and sponsored the Inaugural Annual Fellows Dinner for the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) in Victoria.
The recognition and development of leading directors is important to OPPEUS. Accordingly, Peter Kronborg, Executive Chairman, was pleased to have attended, as major sponsor and initiator of the concept, the exclusive Inaugural Annual Fellows Dinner for the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) in Melbourne on Thursday 25 October. The dinner was to recognise AICD Fellows and announce the recipient of the 2007 Victorian Division Distinguished Fellow Award, presented to Mr John Ralph AC FAICD (Life).
It was exceptionally well attended by leading Fellows of the Institute from the Corporate, Public and Not-For-Profit sectors, including AICD National President, John Story and Chief Executive, Ralph Evans. The gathering was a black tie affair held in the newly refurbished Chapter House, St Paul’s Cathedral and was address by guest of honour, Mr Donald McGauchie AO, as Chairman of Telstra Corporation, on ‘Making Australia Work in the Global Economy – Opportunities and Threats’.
