Mathew Newman, Senior Consultant, represented OPPEUS at the Committee for Melbourne Annual Gala Dinner on 25 October 2007 as a guest of Monash University. The event was held at Crown Palladium, with Clive James as the guest speaker and entertainment from Kate Ceberano and The Choir of Hard Knocks.
The Committee for Melbourne works towards encouraging a competitive and innovative business culture; enhancing Melbourne's liveability; and ensuring Melbourne's global relevance.
The event was attended by a broad range of Committee for Melbourne members who represent over 170 organisations at the highest levels, drawn from the city's major corporations, institutions and organisations across a range of industries.
The Gala Dinner was newly appointed Chief Executive, Sally Capp’s, first speaking engagement.
