Frank has an extensive background in leadership, business advisory and governance. He partners with CEOs, Chairs and Boards in taking them to governance best practice and market leadership levels. For instance is a recent governance review of a major listed and national company operating in financial services, he delivered a 94% improvement in governance performance against best practice benchmarks in a 16 month period. Frank oversees the Governance and Strategy practice at Oppeus International.
Frank was the CEO of Superpartners between 2002 and 2007. As CEO, Frank drove the organisation from its position of a second-tier player to market leadership in the highly competitive financial services market. He totally re-shaped the company to strengthen client relationships and significantly improve service quality. He led Superpartners to become Australia\\\\\\\'s largest superannuation and insurance administrator, servicing 5.7 million member accounts with more than $70 billion in funds under administration, 1,400 staff and eight offices after almost five years at the helm.
In 2007, Frank established Gullone Group (www.gullone.com) to provide discreet business advisory services to Boards and CEOs in the areas of leadership, strategy, operations and outsourcing.
Previously he operated a boutique management consulting firm, Gullone Commercial Solutions, providing strategic consulting, advisory and coaching services to CEOs and Boards of service based firms. Frank is also the author of a number of articles on leadership and management for local and international management journals. He was an inaugural advisor to the Victorian State Government in its first strategic review of the Professional & Technical Services Industry.
Prior to establishing his management consulting firm, Frank was the General Manager of Freehills. He represented the firm nationally and overseas as the most senior non-lawyer executive and partner. Frank has gained extensive finance sector experience within the ANZ Banking Group first as National Operations Manager and later as General Manager of ANZ Trustees and with J. B. Were and Son, where he became the group\\\\\\\'s youngest Chief Financial Officer.
