Marcele works with OPPEUS as a Principal Consultant, combining her skills as an organisational psychologist with academic research and development expertise. She has a strong interest in leadership, talent attraction, retention and development, survey design/analysis and qualitative/quantitative data analysis. Thus, Marcele works across the business in executing all aspects of the Executive Search process, managing key client relationships, driving business development, and advising for survey development and delivery.
Marcele has deep expertise in the mining and resources sector and has executed global searches for a premier diversified resources organisation at the Vice President, Divisional Head, Senior Manager and Manager level. Additionally, she has broad industry expertise in successfully appointing leaders for major hospitals and health networks, ASX-listed services businesses, professional development and education institutions and an international agribusiness/FMCG client at the C-level, General Manager and Departmental Manager level.
Marcele is currently completing her PhD thesis in leadership, specifically exploring the development of transformational and transactional leadership and the social networks of leaders from an attachment theory perspective. She has presented at Australian and international conferences in organisational psychology and maintains an active publication record in the field of leadership and interpersonal relationships.
