Since joining OPPEUS, Robert has undertaken a diversity of leadership advisory assignments including executive and director search, organisation reviews, high performance team development strategic planning, and board development. His key roles involve leadership of the health & life sciences and agri/food sectors, and guiding the organisation practice.
Robert brings to his clients over 25 years of commercial experience, covering strategy and business plan development, executive search, organisational change, M&A and related commercial matters, and his strong communication skills have assisted him to work across all organisation levels.
Robert’s early line management career was in commercial roles in large publishing, public health and agribusiness organisations. Subsequently, as a consultant, he broadened his experience into defence, finance, telecommunications, utilities, government and insurance, where his pragmatic style delivered success in a range of significant engagements throughout Australasia.
Robert holds a B.Business in Accounting, a Graduate Diploma in Business Management, and is also a Graduate of the Company Directors course. He has been recognised with Fellowships of CPA Australia, the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and Chartered Secretaries Australia. Robert has held leadership positions with a variety of community-based organisations, including National Board positions with Save the Children Australia and Chartered Secretaries Australia Limited.
