A former Client Partner for the Industrial, Consumer and Life Sciences practices of Korn/Ferry International in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Shirley managed numerous Pan-Asian assignments for various industries including oil and gas, manufacturing, health care, FMCG, construction and property development.
Ms Kwong began her career in recruitment as a Senior Consultant, with a local boutique executive search firm, EML Associates. From there, she moved to Gemini Search & Selection and was part of the team that set up the Executive Placement division in Malaysia. With PA Consulting Group, her next employer, Ms Kwong focussed on middle-to-senior management search assignments and was given recognition for being among the top three achievers in the Asia Pacific region.
After graduating with a bachelor’s graduate from the Science University of Malaysia, Ms Kwong, who is also a qualified tri-lingual translator, worked as a translator with the National Institute of Translation.
