NAB/Monash Agribusiness Awards for Excellence, supported by OPPEUS.

OPPEUS was pleased to be a key supporter of the 2008 Agribusiness Awards for excellence, held this year at the MCG Members Dining Room and attended by over 380 guests.

OPPEUS has attended the NAB Agribusiness Awards for Excellence for several years, however, this year is the first year that we have sponsored an award, and we are pleased to be involved in such a prestigious and well run event.

OPPEUS was an inaugural sponsor of the Awards this year through our sponsorship of the Governance award, as our involvement, particularly in Agribusiness, grows stronger each year. Given the current economic climate, we will see Good Governance become a leading theme around the discussion of Boards. It is essential to building the structures required for long term sustainability and growth.

Client Partner, Mr René Johnson, presented the OPPEUS Governance Award to the winning company, Wesfarmers, represented by Mr Anthony Niardone, Assistant Company Secretary.

These awards are certainly an honour and reflect the ongoing positive contributions made by all of the finalists to this growth industry.

OPPEUS extends their sincere congratulations to all the winners of the 2008 Awards.
