Health Purchasing Victoria (HPV) was established in 2001 to radically improve the collective purchasing power of Victorian public health services and hospitals.

HPV’s key role is to actively collaborate with public hospitals and health services in Victoria to find best value outcomes in collective procurement, while driving end-to-end supply chain reform across the health sector.

The Role

The Chief Executive exudes an energetic leadership style that promotes HPV’s value proposition to health services, government and other stakeholders, and successfully delivers the Strategic Plan.

The Candidate

Ideally candidates will possess:

• Extensive leadership and senior management experience, including reporting to a Board.
• An in-depth understanding of corporate and public sector governance.
• Sound understanding of the intricacies of and sincere commitment to the Victorian health sector.
• Exceptional team management skills, combined with an agility to manage operations to achieve a sustainable, balanced financial position.
• Extensive experience in successful change management, culture transformation and complex stakeholder engagement.
• Confidence, presence and intellect to communicate actively and effectively with government, health services, suppliers and other key stakeholder groups. We seek a passionate individual who can lead and drive the change management required for HPV to be a leader in supply chain transformation that is aligned with global best practice and standards.
